2009-2010 school year has arrived. We have
accomplished much in nine years with Ms.
McBride as Principal and with a dedicated
staff. We have continued to flourish because
of an incredible group effort. Like many,
we realize the journey ahead of us is a long
one. Principal Kathleen McBride comments, “The
long awaited expansion and renovation was
completed at the beginning of this school
year. What a celebration it was to see all
of the children’s faces when they returned
to their “new” school.” |

We have not only added seventh
grade,
we are celebrating achievement in our Iowa
Test Scores.
Most Holy Trinity School ranked
in the top 15% of the nation!
We also received the
Skillman Foundation’s
Good School Award.

Most Holy Trinity School celebrates 171 years
of educational excellence and spiritual development!
Thanks to you, our celebration continues to be
a great success. In nine years we have raised
over a million dollars; half in tuition assistance,
books and supplies and the balance from in-kind
renovations to the school’s interior and
exterior. In addition to this amount, a two hundred
thousand dollar window and building renovation
was completed this year.
We welcome you to continue to join us in securing
the future of this exceptional school. Miracles
are possible because of your generosity and the
legacy of service begun years ago by Monsignor
Clement Kern, subsequent pastors and carried on
today through the efforts of Father Russell
Kohler.
As you know,
Most Holy Trinity Grade School is a flower garden
of race, faith and culture refreshingly united
as one since 1838.
We refuse to become an inner city Catholic
school statistic. We do not want to become a charter
school and forsake the very reason why we continue
to be such a success: the Lord! Through the dedicated
service and financial help of so many, Most Holy
Trinity Grade School has been blessed and has
flourished.
Now in our tenth year of our development campaign we still need to continue to: • Enhance
our educational programs
• Secure additional books and new computers for
all classrooms
• Replace
lunchroom tables and benches
• Expand
for eighth grade
